How long should my investment horizon be?
Your investment horizon depends on your financial goals and risk tolerance. Generally, the longer your investment horizon, the higher the probability of achieving your goals. We recommend investing for the long term, at least 5 years or more, to benefit from compound interest.
What is the difference between active trading and passive investing?
Active trading involves efforts to outperform the market. Passive investing focuses on tracking the overall market performance.
Why stock indexes and not individual stocks?
Stock indexes generally have much lower volatility because they are a bundle of stocks, meaning if a stock in the S&P 500 moves down by 30%, it won’t have as significant an impact on the index, depending of course on how pivotal that stock is in the index.
What returns can I expect on my investment?
We achieve an average of 20 – 30% p.a.
What fees are associated with investing?
Fees typically include management fees, which cover the costs associated with managing the fund, and trading costs, which include the costs of buying and selling assets in the fund’s portfolio. These are usually a percentage of each trade.
How can I invest in your fund?
After signing a contract, funds are transferred to our corporate account, and we then send them to the trading account at InteractiveBrokers.
